As the school’s second most decorated athletic program, the golf program is one of the deepest squads not only in the KC Metro area but probably in the midwest.
Comprised of about 20 golfers, it is not unheard of for members of the C squad to compete at varsity tournaments and find great success.
This depth is part of the secret sauce that allows for competitive practices and tremendous support from team members, coaches and families. Coach Mark Nusbaum knows what it takes to build those championship mindsets all within a framework of community.
As a spring sport – tryouts take the first two weeks of the season in a tournament fashion.
