While the sport might have started as a winter sport at Rockhurst in the 70s – it has grown to be a fall tradition – which includes many trips to the Final Four.

Recently, Coach Darby has helped to guide the Hawklets to national acclaim as National Champions and have currently won 3 state championships in a row.

But the program is not only defined by trophies and banners as there is a strong camaraderie and a technical style of play.

There are four teams in the program (Varsity, JV, C team, and freshman) with tryouts being held the first week of the season.
